Without training, I’m having trouble visualizing how I would use it. But personally, I wish it was a little more user friendly. There are certified trainers and online courses (both paid and free) to help you better utilize its capabilities. I only tried the free version.Įvernote is pretty powerful. The business version at $14.99/month/user has features for team collaboration and administration. The premium version at $7.99/month allows for options like forwarding emails directly to your Evernote account and integration with Google Drive, Outlook, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. There is a premium version and a business version. ![]() I would also mention that while Evernote could certainly handle simple checklists and grocery lists, it’s probably overkill for those needs. The mobile version is definitely more intuitive, though, so I recommend starting there. ![]() There was also no tutorial, although you are provided with some existing notes that provide some tips. I found it very confusing and not at all intuitive. When I first started with Evernote, I signed up on the web. It was a handy way of keeping track of all the components of a personal project I was working on. I tried a Getting Things Done template, which has a variety of components: a project title, time frame, desired outcomes, resources, checklist, and notes. Templates include a gift tracker, party planning checklist, weekly or monthly calendars, various project budgets, a travel inspiration board, weight loss tracker, and a gratitude journal, just to name a few. The true power seems to lie in the many existing templates that Evernote users have created. ![]()
